Gordon E. Sauer
Gordon graduated with a degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M University in 1965, where he excelled in livestock and meat judging. In 1968, he earned his law degree and returned to Fredericksburg, raising a family, ranching, and operating a successful business law practice and title company. Today, he devotes his passion and energies to seedstock production and ranching in partnership with his son Ryan.  Gordon was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Texas and Southwestern Cattleraiser’s Association, a 15,000 plus membership organization dedicated to the stewardship of our land and livestock.

Ryan Sauer
From the time he was old enough to “go with Dad”, Ryan Sauer surrounded himself with cattle and horses. Continuing in his father’s footsteps, he also attended Texas A&M and obtained a degree in Agricultural Economics and then went on to complete Texas Christian University’s Ranch Management Program. His deeply committed focus to ensuring the Sauer Cattle Company’s Angus Plus herd meets their high standards guarantees his bright future in the beef industry.  His dad praises his strong work ethic and commitment to the industry.
